Beurs van Berlage

Dating from 1903, this building housed the Amsterdam Stock Exchange for many years. It was designed by the Dutch architect Hendrik Berlage (1856-1934). Now it is the home of the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra, and is used for concerts, exhibitions, art fairs and conferences. The civil marriage ceremony of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and his Princess Máxima was held here.
